Annual Underground Electrical Refresher 

Instructor(s): WV MHS&T Instructors

Duration: Eight and half hours

Location(s): WVTCC

Program Overview: This eight and half hour course of classroom instruction and discussion as well as hands-on practice inside the Mine Lab will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to understand and maintain the State and MSHA requirements of underground electrical mining rules and regulations, safe troubleshooting techniques and providing a safe working environment.


Annual Surface / Plant Electrical Refresher

Duration: Eight and half hours

Location(s): WVTCC 

Program Overview: This eight and half-hour course of classroom instruction and discussion as well as hands-on practice on the Simulated Plant Structure will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to understand and maintain the State and MSHA requirements of surface electrical mining rules and regulations, safe troubleshooting techniques and providing a safe working environment.
